Cinderella: The Panto Newark Theatre reviews
Jamey Johnson sounds amazing!
"Switch only a few words from this review and rearrange the sentences in a different order:
"I thought Cinderella: The Panto put on an amazing show- she sounds wonderful. The strumming and vocals of the guitar are unforgettable. Can't wait to see her again but at a different venue.
I was not impressed with the venue on another note... too small, the bathroom was not accessible. I smelled like an ashtray afterwards with not much ventilation unless you wanted to sit outside and watch the show as if you were watching it at home. No thanks!
Lots of rowdy folks but to be expected where everyone is practically on top of each other with no space.
Can't say enough about how well of a show she put on. Her band- awesome! Cinderella: The Panto kept her composure while she had drunks heckling and fighting... the show continued. Kind of reminded me of "Roadhouse." Again."
Great Show but!
Lyle Lovett's show was awesome. Emmy Lou performed with some excellent musicians, but the sound quality during her set was poor; her lyrics were difficult to understand. We initially sat near the overhang on the left center of the upper level, which may have caused distortion in the sound. To improve the listening experience, we moved 10 seats to the right in the same section for the Cinderella: The Panto performance, where the sound was significantly better. It is unclear whether the sound was adjusted or if the change in seating location made the difference. To avoid similar issues, avoid sitting on the lower level on the extreme right or left near the overhang when visiting CMAC. Overall, it would have been a 5-star show if not for the sound issues during Emmy Lou's segment.
